Frequently Asked Questions

What is Recruitment?

Recruitment is a week of various events where brothers can meet you and you can meet brothers. The purpose of these events are to attract fresh, potential candidates for membership into our organization. These events are a great way for you to learn about our chapter and to evaluate whether or not it is a right fit for you. At the end of recruitment week, bids are given out to those candidates who can benefit most from being a part of our organization and vice versa.

How do I decide if an organization like Delta Sigma Pi is right for me?

Students don’t just join organizations, they join communities of like-minded individuals. Join an organization where you feel comfortable with the people & atmosphere. You'll be part of an organization where you call your fellow members, brothers, and the friendships and connections you develop last beyond just your college years. In addition, join an organization where you feel you can grow in and give back to. Consider organizations that can challenge you to become a better person, broaden your horizons and help you make the most of your college career.

What is the purpose of Delta Sigma Pi and why should I join?

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity that furthers the learning experience beyond the classroom. As a member and recruit, you will be exposed to various professional events featuring professional speakers and educators from a diverse array of industries. Events such as these provide individuals, like yourself, to gain skills and experiences that are imperative to succeeding in the business world. The real benefit of DSP is that it provides a close-knit group of motivated individuals with common interests and goals who are always willing to attribute to the success of one another.

I've applied in previous semesters but didn't receive a bid. Can I reapply for recruitment?

Absolutely! Re-applicants show us that they are dedicated, persistent, and committed. Our advice to those applying again are to show us how you have grown since your previous time applying, and illustrate what things you have done to become more accomplished and well-rounded..
